I have hand cut the strips for this card. I first did the outline with black strips and filled it with the colour strips.I crimped the red , pink and green strips and filled the petals by looping and the leaves with V scrolls of different lengths.
I always like crimped effect and this particular design looks like it is nib painted.
The letterings I did with black paper strips.I rolled the strips over my quilling tool and unrolled it and used it to do the letterings.This makes the strips less stiff and easy to be shaped. I have stuck punched hearts to the background before I started quilling.
